Donald S. Zuber




Donald S. Zuber, a native of Metairie, was admitted to the bar in 1960. Upon graduation from Law School, Mr. Zuber was commissioned as a First Lieutenant in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, United States Army, and was on active duty until July 1, 1962. He was promoted to Captain prior to his release from active duty. He practiced law in Metairie, Louisiana until 1966 when he moved to Baton Rouge to join this firm. He became a partner in this firm in 1969.

Mr. Zuber has retired from the active practice of law. He devoted his forty-five years of practice to active litigation in the areas of Medical Malpractice Defense, Legal Malpractice Defense, and Healthcare Law.

Mr. Zuber served on numerous Louisiana State Bar Association Committees, was a member of the adjunct faculty at the Louisiana State University Law Center, and was a Chairman of a hearing committee for the Louisiana State Bar Association Disciplinary Board. He was a member of Gamma Eta Gamma, Baton Rouge Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, and the International Association of Defense Counsel.


During his career, Mr. Zuber lectured at numerous seminars in the fields of Medical Malpractice and Hospital Liability Law.


Mr. Zuber attained the highest possible professional and ethical rating (“AV”) as issued by Martindale-Hubbell legal ratings directory, and was listed in their Bar Registry of Preeminent Lawyers.
